Embellished Working Women Wall Quilt

This beautiful wall quilt will be close to completion in the one day class. Bev will teach her appliqué and embellishing techniques as well as the history of the women and of the embellishments used. The kit includes African fabric and all the embellishments which are from Africa plus all the fabrics including backing and batting

Requirements that you need to bring:
- Pins
- Scissors – paper and fabric
- Needles suitable for appliqué
- Sewing and appliqué thread
- Tube turner or knitting needle or chop stick (actually I use blunt scissors)
- Pen/pencil for marking light and dark fabric
- Sheet of plastic template
- Pen/pencil to mark plastic template
- ¼ inch bias bar
- Standard sewing supplies i.e. scissors, etc
